If you follow me on Facebook, you already know all about our horrible experience with the moving company that we hired. We shall leave that whole catastrophe for another post at another time if I could ever muster up the strength to retell the story that is. Let's just say that our stuff didn't arrive at our new place until about a week after the planned move in date.
Anyway, we decided to stop at San Diego for a few days on our way to Arizona so that we could make the best out of Jake's last days before he starts his real job. Ethan did pretty well in the car only crying and screaming for about 10% of the time. To keep him entertained, we gave him some new toys that I had been hiding from him before the trip. We also read lots and lots and lots of books.
In San Diego, we went to the Torrey Pines Reserve and did a hike. Wearing the wrong shoes didn't stop any of us from having a good time.
A stranger came up to us that day and told us that we have THE CUTEST BABY ON THE PLANET. He couldn't have been more right.
